- Tolles teachers go above-and-beyond to provide extra assistance to our students. This includes the Learning Resource Center, which serves all students, all the time, and provides tutoring, testing prep and assistance, bilingual services, and more.
What is different about the Academic Learning Spaces?
- Grand Hallway: The Grand Hallway is the centerpiece of the Tolles Campus, part collaborative learning space, part lounge. Classes can utilize the large area for projects, presentations, and events.
- Project-Based Learning Classrooms: Two social studies classrooms utilize PBL learning, where a mobile and flexible space will lend itself to learning that comes alive!
- Learning Resource Center: A space for tutoring, testing preparation, individualized learning, bilingual assistance, and more.
- Study Center: Students receive time to work in the study center and get assistance with career readiness and the Madison County Workforce Readiness Credential.
- College & Career Readiness Center: This space will host college admissions representatives, military representatives, employers, and more. It will also serve as a place for applying to college and learning more about financial aid and scholarships.
Can my student earn college credit at Tolles?
- Ohio’s new College Credit Plus can help students earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from community colleges or universities. The purpose of College Credit Plus is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety to college-ready students. These courses are free while in high school. - Nearly all of our career-technical programs have articulation agreements in place for students to earn college credit for free while enrolled. An articulation agreement means students can seamlessly carry that college credit on to the college partner for free and continue their education after high school.
